Movie Summary
Nick Morton is a soldier of fortune who plunders ancient sites for timeless artifacts and sells them to the highest bidder. When Nick and his partner come under attack in the Middle East, the ensuing battle accidentally unearths Ahmanet, a betrayed Egyptian princess who was entombed under the desert for thousands of years. With her powers constantly evolving, Morton must now stop the resurrected monster as she embarks on a furious rampage through the streets of London. Didn't expect myself to catch Mummy since by the word Mummy you already know you are going to expect tomb and stuffs but I honestly thought it is not as scary as I thought because I watched the trailer and it is not scary. Who knew the trailer will lie!! I literally covering my eyes with my hands most of the time especially some part of the movie where there are jump scares with the sound effects. I missed out 30 minutes for the front part of the movie because we ended work at 10pm but we booked the 9.30pm slot since there will be advertisements and stuffs too but we actually went to the wrong theatre and I thought that the people didn't buy the tickets and were actually sitting at our seats because the whole theatre was full house including our row. Row E. I started the movie from the scene in plane where Nick and Jenny was on a aircraft plane flying together with the tomb while reading a lot the engrafted work on the tomb. The mummy was finally awakened from the tomb because of the air crash and it starts feeding on human to transform and Nick was her Chosen so he was cursed and he is the only one that can find a way to stop the mummy and her curse, together with the help of Jenny. Some parts is really damn scary and horrifying, the scene where all the rats came crawling all over Nick's body and the part before the mummy transforms, as well as all the mummy suddenly awaken from the tombs and came running around at the speed of zombies.
