Always craving for some good'o anime movies. The fact that I love watching anime in cinema because it don't have a lot of episodes aside from the fact that I have slow wifi and lazy to catch all episodes.
Movie Summary Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom? is a 2017 Japanese animated romantic drama film produced by Shaft and was released by Toho. It is based on the 1993 Japanese live-action drama of the same name by Shunji Iwai. The story sums up the different perspective one can get; mainly as it's title suggested. Should we see things from the surface or deep down. There is no right or wrong answer. But one thing for sure, firework is actually 'flat' lights shooting out and become round shape when people view it from the ground. What I don't like from the storyline is that the whole movie is actually quite draggy so some scenes just keep repeating over and over again as the main lead keep throwing the coin to get different outcomes. Singapore's most successful movie franchise is back! After leaving the military, Lobang, Wayang King, Sergeant Ong, and Ken Chow are all busy with their respective career as civilians. That's until they are called back to serve the nation again under the Singapore Armed Forces' Armoured Formation. Now they must juggle between work and their reservist duties. What hilarious situations will happen as they train together and their military roles are reversed? There'll be new enemy threats and their brotherhood will be put to the test. Somehow I never watch ABTM1-3 ya I know I'm one of the rare Singaporean that didn't watch. Maybe I don't really like watching local movies and Jack Neo but the curiosity of army life and the good reviews make me go and watch ABTM4 and it wasn't bad. I get to know more about army life and the different units ya I don't know all these because most of my friends are girls haha don't judge me. Ratings: 🍿🍿🍿🍿 Finally a marvel studio movie which was one of the popular hits in cinemas.
Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk, his former ally and fellow Avenger but Hulk was trapped in his memory and forgotten everything. Thor's quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Thor's sister) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilisation, together with his brother and Hulk. A lot of graphics was used in the movie and the movie was thrilling to watch. Ratings: 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 Movie Summary
Blade Runner sounds like a very thrilling movie but the movie just kinda disappoints some how. There's some parts where the plot is very confusing and boring especially personally I feel that the beginning part is. It's about Officer K (Ryan Gosling), a new blade runner for the Los Angeles Police Department, where he unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. His discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former blade runner who's been missing for 30 years which turns out to be his biological dad if I remembered correctly. In the process, he tried to protect Joi in which she is just an illusion and he wasn't suppose to be protecting her in the first place and they fell in love with one another. Maybe because I don't understand the movie, so if you are curious about the plot, read here. It has everything explained in details. Ratings: 🍿🍿 I'm forced by my boyfriend and friend to watch IT. Quan is a humble London businessman whose long-buried past erupts in a revenge-fueled vendetta when the only person left for him to love -his teenage daughter dies in a senseless act of politically motivated terrorism. His relentless search to find the terrorists leads to a cat-and-mouse conflict with a British government official whose own past may hold the clues to the identities of the elusive killers. Jackie Chan acted and directed in this movie. Missed the opening of the movie but I believed the starting part was intense as they show the horrible car accident caused by the terrorists. His wife and all his daughters have died in tragedy so with his past as a police officer, he seeks his own ways and he can only depends on himself to hunt down the real murderers. The only disappointing thing is the ending which ended quite abruptly. Ratings: 🍿🍿🍿🍿 If you guys have watch part 1, you would have know Kinsman is a very good movie and the finally much awaited part 2 have finally come out in the cinema and I can't wait to watch it when it got released. In fact, I'm forced to watch 3 times by my friends and boyfriend!!
Movie Summary Following the story of part 1, with their headquarters destroyed and the world held hostage, members of Kingsman find new allies when they discover a spy organization in the United States known as Statesman through a bottle of Whisky left over by their ancestors. With the hint from the bottle, they embark on an adventure to the land of Kentucky that tests their strength and wits, the elite secret agents from both sides of the pond band together to battle a ruthless enemy called the Golden Circle where drugs and millions of people is involved in a deadly disease and save the day. In which at the same time, Eggsy have to find ways to make Harry (he's actually not dead) recover his memory and Merlin sacrifice his life during their operations. Overall I still prefer part 1 in terms of the story plot, part 2 involve some very disturbing scene for me especially the meat mincing machine that actually mince meat out of people and the teeth makeover part even though the movie opener is very thrilling! I think there's going to be a part 3 coming out based on the way the movie ended in part 2. Ratings: 🍿🍿🍿🍿 Movie Summary
This movie is about a young boy who just started his adventure as Spider-man and how Parker overcome his newfound identity as Spider-Man under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine but he was distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear. I was actually quite surprised when I heard rumours that Spider-Man Homecoming is actually not really produced by Marvel Studios itself or something like it's just a part of Spiderman movie. I don't really know how to explain or differentiate. The whole movie shows how he struggle badly and it was difficult for him to defeat Vulture so it was quite tensing to watch. Nick Morton is a soldier of fortune who plunders ancient sites for timeless artifacts and sells them to the highest bidder. When Nick and his partner come under attack in the Middle East, the ensuing battle accidentally unearths Ahmanet, a betrayed Egyptian princess who was entombed under the desert for thousands of years. With her powers constantly evolving, Morton must now stop the resurrected monster as she embarks on a furious rampage through the streets of London. Didn't expect myself to catch Mummy since by the word Mummy you already know you are going to expect tomb and stuffs but I honestly thought it is not as scary as I thought because I watched the trailer and it is not scary. Who knew the trailer will lie!! I literally covering my eyes with my hands most of the time especially some part of the movie where there are jump scares with the sound effects. I missed out 30 minutes for the front part of the movie because we ended work at 10pm but we booked the 9.30pm slot since there will be advertisements and stuffs too but we actually went to the wrong theatre and I thought that the people didn't buy the tickets and were actually sitting at our seats because the whole theatre was full house including our row. Row E. I started the movie from the scene in plane where Nick and Jenny was on a aircraft plane flying together with the tomb while reading a lot the engrafted work on the tomb. The mummy was finally awakened from the tomb because of the air crash and it starts feeding on human to transform and Nick was her Chosen so he was cursed and he is the only one that can find a way to stop the mummy and her curse, together with the help of Jenny. Some parts is really damn scary and horrifying, the scene where all the rats came crawling all over Nick's body and the part before the mummy transforms, as well as all the mummy suddenly awaken from the tombs and came running around at the speed of zombies. Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny. I feel that the make a poor trailer out of a awesome movie, I feel that the editing of the trailer is not as good as the moves of Diana as compared to in the movie, with the graphic effects. I bet everyone know who's wonder woman or have at least heard of it so I think it is quite challenging for them to make this into a successful movie but I glad they did. Diana was trained 10 times harder than any Amazons despite her mum hides her real identity away from her to protect her but when she met Chris by accident as she save him inside the sea which broke the protection spell and invite evil into their island, her mum know that she couldn't stop her any further as she need to protect America from Germany as both countries are at war. Soldiers were tired as they don't have enough food and water and nobody dares to cross over the border until Diana did and she manage to stop evil and poison from the entire world with the help of Chris who sacrifices his life in the end.
