If you google korean restaurants, then you must have heard of Guiga! Located a walk away from Tanjong Pagar and they have a street of Korean restaurants that you are sure to be spoilt for choice! Menu:Price range on their menu is slightly on the higher end so if you are on a tighter budget, you can drop by during lunch hour as they have lunch special menu. Their side dishes are all equally good; (from left to right) mayonnaise macaroni, spicy beansprouts, kimchi, sesame seaweed, eggplant and sausages. We ordered Budae Jjigae (army stew) and Kimchi Jeon (kimchi pancake). The army stew is enough for 2 people. It is basically a spicy soup base with spam, sausages, canned baked beans, rice cakes and sliced cheese and usually eaten with instant noodles. Budae (부대) is a general term for a military base in Korean and Jjigae (찌개) is a term for soup/stew. The food wasn't bad. Big fan of Budae Jjigae. Personally feel that the price of the pancake was not worth it even though it is huge but still its doesn't justify the $18. After eating 2 pieces of the pancake, the oily factor just discourage you from eating more slices. Guiga Korean Bbq Restaurant
