Planned a birthday lunch for Bby’s birthday because he got mentioned to me that he want to try out Pasta Supremo which is located at Suntec City and they served handmade fushion pasta from scratch! You can expect to see pasta in purple colour and cooked with Sze Chuan spicies etc. Menu:Since we went on a Monday during lunchtime, we don’t need to pay for the free flow drinks. There is honey lemon, iced water and sour plum drinks to choose from. Soup of the day was Cream of Tomato and usually seldom restaurant don’t have this and I’m actually a fan of cream of tomato but this one tastes slightly on the blander side for me so a touch of pepper definitely spiced it up better. But the texture was thick and grainy which goes to shows that the restaurant probably cooked it from scratch. Supremo Porky Marinara Pasta is cooked nicely. The sauce that comes with it was kind of on the sourish side than other tomato sauces he have ever tasted. The mini pork belly was good but only a few was given. The meatball was huge, flavourful and well seasoned however it was kind of overcooked. Prawn Olio Olio is no doubt one of their signature pasta with its unique colour and combinations of fusions flavours. The spiciness was on point however the pasta was a bit more to the softer jellier side. The fish roes contribute to a small amount of crunchiness and freshness to the pasta. The prawns was average on the other hand. The Spiced Supremo Chicken Skins come in big chunks of chicken skins and deep fried and drizzled over with spiced powder. The spicyness was bearable while the meat were quite generous surprisingly even though I was expecting more of the chicken skins. Ordered this huge Koi cake from Whisked Sg few weeks in advance before the actual day and rushed down in the morning of the actual day to collect this cake from their shop at Outram Park and I was like a lost sheep. I took at least 20 minutes to locate their shop because I was walking and running and sweating around in circles. Lucky the kind owner managed to wait for me even though their shop supposingly close at 12.30pm and I reach at barely 1pm. Saw the overwhelming post by them on Instagram which gives me the idea of choosing this popular design since he like bubble tea too. The decorations including the pearls is all made up of fondant and tastes pretty much hard and tasteless with the sole purpose of making it look pretty on the surface only and this entire handmade cake costs me $90. For the base flavour, I went with the cookies and cream and the cake turns out to be super firm and hard. I wouldn’t say this was my favourite cake out of those I have tried. But for the grams and boy, yes! PS: Oh ya in case your are wondering about the cracks, it’s because we were out for way too longer than what’s the cake can endures so it’s kinda melted. Pasta Supremo
