Brought Mum to Wild Honey to celebrate advanced Mother's Day Celebration and secretly using Chope vouchers for more discounts. And Wild Honey definitely exceed my expectations with its high class settings and royal chairs. They have 2 outlets; one is located at Scotts Square while the other one is located at Mandarin Gallery which is super close to one another. I bought the 50% off vouchers for the one at Scotts Square but sadly the date that I wanted to make reservations wasn't available so I have to make do with a Tuesday instead after work. Menu:Mum had a cup of Latte to go with the meal and it comes with a latte art. The foam was thick but the aromatic taste of the latte was present. I decided to go for their Scandinavian and I was given a choice to choose the cooked level for my salmon and I went for medium rare because I don't like my salmon to be overcooked. The salmon was generous and comes in big slice. On the sides, there was 3 asparagus, a bunch of fresh tomatoes and underneath the salmon was a layer of fried potato rosti. And the rosti was quite disappointing considering the amount of oil left over on the plate. Other than that, I could consider this dish as a healthy and hearty meal. Mum had the Brittany which consists of a french toast with sliced bananas and whipped cream on top with honey drizzled on top because she didn't want to have a too filling meal. The bread was made sweet with the honey and the bananas tasted fresh together with the caramelised popcorn which made this meal very sinful. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in this world!!
