Hokkaido Marche is a small Japanese foodcourt that features over 7-8 stalls selling different kinds of japanese food at the basement of Orchard Central. Out of so many food stalls, we choose one of the stall that sells don because it has one of the cheapest price and probably the most filling out of all the stalls. One of their don is going on promotion which consists of pork slices, poached egg, fried chicken skin and a bowl of soup for around $14 per set. The pork slices comes in big and thick 1cm slices and it filled up the bowl completely with rice underneath covered with dark soy sauce. Meat was slightly juicy and I had the rice with my poached egg spread all over the rice, adding another layer of taste to the whole bowl. While the fried chicken skin served as a light weight snack to go along with the meal. A tip I would recommend is to add the spicy chilli powder to your chicken skin as well as your rice for a spicy taste. Hokkaido Marche
