This was my first time up at Mount Faber and as a Singaporean, I'm shameful to say this out haha. Apparently you can grab up there but not all drivers are willing to grab you up because of the road. There's only one way up and another way down so if a car breaks down in the middle of the road, then that's it. The restaurant that Terrence book for us for my birthday celebration is Dusk, which is situated at the top of Mount Faber. Menu:Smoking Nitro Margarita Lychee was good and one of their signature cocktail. The lychee and margarita vodka is well balanced out without being too harsh or sweet. I believe this were be a favourite amongst the ladies. Forest Mushrooms with Sherry was sautéed on point and not overly salty. The flavour was there and mushrooms was soft and cook together with the cream sauce without feeling gelat. Iced Cappuccino was not overly sweet. It has a subtle bitter taste to it which was very good. Soup of the day was Seafood Chowder where generous amount of ingredients is served. You can taste the homemade goodness in the soup and it’s isn’t too salty. The soup itself can be quite expensive and the portion was small. Tiger Prawn Capellini was very flavourful. Noodles were cooked al dente, prawns were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Every bite of the pasta makes me want to dig in even more. Seafood Linguine is easily my favourite. Personally I love the pasta sauce which was a combination of tomato and the addition of chilli padi on request. When cook together with the sweetness and freshness of the seafood, it’s add on to the flavour of the whole dish. The linguine absorbs the sauce of the pasta well. There were also big chunks of dory and tiger prawns. Martini Passionfruit is smooth and the ingredients combine well with one another. The bits of the passionfruit can be found on the bottom of the glass which give you another layer of texture from the cocktail. Sunset Spritzer taste amazing. The sweetness from the mango sorbet contrasts with the sourness from the passion fruit brings out the best of both worlds in the drink. Paired with the triple sec curaco, it was truly a match made in heaven. Thank you Bby for the dinner. Love you. <3
