I'm back here to explore the street of Korean food in Singapore again and this time round, I tried the Superstar k and they have 2 outlets facing one another on the opposite road; one is the ala carte version and bbq meat while the other one is more towards bbq meat only. So I visited the outlet with the combination one! Menu:These are the complimentary side dishes given to us and this is my first time seeing salad as part of the side dishes. We ordered a bowl of Steamed Egg for $5 out of the few ala carte side dish they have to offer. Others will be ricecakes and steamed kimchi etc. The egg has a strong stone bowl smell because they use the bowl to steam so it's kind of overpower or ruin the taste of the egg even though the colour of the egg looks fluffy and fresh. Mum was craving for some simple ramen so she ordered the chicken one and it was rather simple because you can cook it at home for the price you are paying. I was actually craving for their Gamjatang because this is my favourite korean dish and not many korean restaurant sell it and even if they do, the price are often not cheap and at least $20 and above so I wanted to order it but the staff say it was sold out so as usual I went back to order the Tofu Stew because I feel it is better to get the Tofu Stew and add the kimchi from the side dish myself rather than ordering the Kimchi Stew with no tofu. But I love how this restaurant sells authentic korean food and the staff was super friendly. I was wearing white that day so they offered to give me a apron to wear but the downside is that I noticed the apron has some white spots on it and it was kind of disgusting and turned off.
