Cheng Mun Chee Kee Pig Organ Soup was recommended by Terrence because he has been there before. Apparently this shop has been there for many years but this was my first time trying out their pig organ soup. You can choose the ingredients you want to add into your soup and customise accordingly. For me, I'm ok with all the pig organ expect for the liver. Menu:I went for their small bowl while he went for the large bowl so there is a difference in the ingredients portion. We also had the Vinegar Pork Trotters to go with as well as 2 bowls of rice. Their chilli is also special and is made to go along with the pig organs pieces. The soup itself has a very foggy look to it unlike most pig organ soup which has a clear soup base prior to that. I realised it tastes quite well on its own without the need to add white pepper to it. The soup was rich and flavourful with all the different pig organ ingredients such as liver, belly, kidney, small intestines, tofu, meatball, lean meat and salted vegetables. Their Pig Trotters was rather special because the gravy is actually not thick at all but rather a very pure liquid type to it. It has a very strong vinegar taste to it. The skin was on point but there were some part of the pig trotter hair to it which kinds of turn me off. Other than that, the meat was tender and juicy. Cheng Mun Chee Kee Pig Organ Soup
