FINALLY NATHALIE IS BACK after infinity years haha. So this called for a rare and precious reunion for the 7 of us. Yay! There's so much stuffs to catch up upon especially when this time it will be a different one compared to the previous meetups because she got a bf this time round aww. Our Nathalie all grown up haha jk. Her bf is really sweet and loving after hearing about her stories and how the 2 of them met. They prove that distance is not a problem for LDR. We even talked about how the 6 of us is gonna save money to fly over to ST. Louis if they will to get married ahaha LOL. Anyway we just randomly choose this cafe called Toledo's Expresso Nook where it is located at Lavender mrt station BLK 462, opposite the big UOB. Accessible by foot from the station for about 10-15 minutes. Just continue walking straight after you walk past ICA building. It is somewhere around the HDB blocks area. They have all day breakfast; perfect for lazy people like me who love love love breakfast food but can't wait up early enough to have it!!!!!! Totally forgot to take photo of the mains menu so credits to whoever who took the following photo I took from Google! This was the best photo I can find, the rest are like all cropped. What we ordered? Carbonara Pasta, Turkey Ham Mushrooms Pasta, Banana Pancakes and Toledo's American Breakfast, Ice Blended Caramel and Ice Blended Peppermint Mocha. All the food was quite tasty and best of all they are mostly below $12 and no service or gst charge unlike most cafes. The pancakes is nice and fluffy while the pastas is nicely cooked. We had the outdoor bench seats because all the seats are occupied and we had 6 people. Nathalie reach the cafe first so she reserved the seats for us. The staff was very cheerful and super friendly. Big thumb up! I personally love the ice blended caramel the best. The sweetness of the caramel is just right and it quenches my thirst for the hot weather! A group photo with our food. Just realise that we tried to clean the table after our food below in order to take a group photo but the camera still captured our table mess lol what's the point of cleaning up and pushing it to the sides hahaha. Told them I have been craving for (bingsu)Nunsongyee ever since my last Korea trip. Somemore we want to continue our chat and Nunsongyee is at Bugis which is just one station away from Lavender so all of them agreed. The dessert place is super big. It has 3 floors where you can choose which level you want to enjoy your bingsu. My favourite bingsu has got to be the Ingeolmi Bingsu which is made up of peanuts, peanut powder and tiny rice cakes, shaved snow ice in which you pour the milk over your bingsu...... OMG = heaven. Shit I'm craving for it again. The other one we ordered was blueberry and strawberry bingsu topped with ice-cream. First time trying bingsu and combination of ice cream. They actually tastes really good together because usually ice-cream and ice doesn't tastes too good together because the ice will melt ma. A quiet cafe amongst the HDB flats which sells all day breakfast at an affordable price and no gst or service charge!! Definitely recommended!
