Holla, the special day have finally arrived and its my birthday!! This year, I decided to spurge myself on a new pair of Nike Roshe customised online on nike website even though I'm not sure whether it's the real thing but it's cost me around $200 for the customisation. The white nike logo, white shoelaces, white back side and most importantly the roshe part in black and white glitters (not sure what you guys called it). And then as usual, I proceed to buy myself a rainbow cake (because nobody bother to buy a cake for me every year) at I Am Cafe because they have the best and biggest rainbow cake ever with cream cheese whip (around $8). And then I was actually quite happy that both my mum and dad was able to make it to celebrate for me together because they are no on good terms so it was actually quite rare. Menu:Basically The Flame Cafe is a buffet type and they even have a mini stove for you to make your own pizza. The reason I choose to eat here because it was all the hip thing on Instagram and their steamboat tier is quite special because it is made up of 4 different layers of tiers where the bottom first tier is for your soup, second tier for grilling meat, third tier for nacho cheese and fourth tier for onions and other toppings. The food is good but the service was a disappointment. Staff were unclear of their buffet pricing and told us different information before and after we finish our meal. Initially we paid for the price of the seafood buffet but there wasn't any seafood at the buffet area (area where you ownself take your ingredients) so we thought that the kitchen will come and serve the seafood to us or something and we forgotten all about it because we were busy taking and cooking food from the buffet area until right after we finish eating, then I realised but apparently it was too late because they have already "charged" us even though we haven't even make payment. When I confronted the staff at the counter, staff A wasn't very sure, so she went to ask staff B. Staff B said because we already ordered the 2 different types of soup bases (that suppose to included the seafood) so they have to charge us accordingly. What nonsense is this!! We didn't even ate any seafood!! So apparently the seafood have to be ordered on another piece of paper and to be submitted to the kitchen. Despite all the good reviews on Instagram, was super disappointed and it's kind of ruined my birthday dinner oh well. The whole bill added up to around $90+ when it's supposed to be just $60+ for the non-seafood price.
