Passed by this the other day and what’s caught my attention was their in house tofu stew which is was they are well known for. And being a tofu stew lover, I knew I got to give it a try no matter what! This comes as a early birthday celebration for me with mum. Menu:Their side dishes was pretty unique as you don’t usually spot a deep fried white fish. Other dishes to go along were cuttlefish, seaweed and kimchi. The downside is that the fish has many tiny bones which can be difficult to eat but it was rather plain and tasteless with a tint of sweetness from the fish itself. We got ourselves the Hot Stone Bibimbap Combo which was half the price cheaper if we were to get it separately on a ala carte basis. You can get to choose whether you want to order the normal white rice or those that comes in the form or hot stone. Not exactly sure on what’s the difference is? Maybe it’s just hotter? Mum cannot take in spicy food so the only few things she can order is this Hot Stone Bibimbap. Overall, there’s wasn’t much sauce so the rice tends to be dry with all the ingredients. Maybe if you take spicy, they would give you the sauce to go with your bibimbap. The portion of the tofu was definitely more than the stew itself and it absorbs pretty well. Tofu was handmade from scratch and my bowl were empty at the end. You can choose your spiciness level from 1-4. Even though I choose level 3, it’s wasn’t spicy at all unless you bite into the chilli.
