Second time here at Chug Chug and the thing different this time round was I get to try their main dishes. We tried their new mala pasta and because we have purchased the 1 for 1 from Chope. It was so much cheaper and affordable. This was my first time using Chope from word of mouth and the whole procedure was actually quite easy and simple! I have never tried any mala pasta before and the Fiery Mala Pasta was surprisingly good and goes well together. The spiciness was on point especially for a spicy lover for me. I would rate this as a medium spicyness. There was fish fillets, corn and mushrooms that comes along with the pasta. Spicy and good. For me, I had their Scallops Mentaiko Pasta which was mentaiko cream base and the creamy sauce wasn't the taste I was looking for. The pasta too doesn't seems to absorb in the sauce as much but they serves generous portion of the fish roes but it tends to get cooked very fast with the warm sauce and the pasta. The scallops was super big, sweet and fresh on the other hand. Japanese Pidan Tofu was a unique combination of pidan, tofu, crabmeat and fishroe. It was served cold. The tofu was fresh and soft while the pidan goes well with the tofu and serves as a refreshing side dish with the add on of the fish roe. Chug's Mango Iced Tea Chug Chug
