Cups and Canvas is a art cafe tucked on a quiet little street, near POMO mall and you have to take a bus to go to the cafe. Canvas painting done by students can be seen hanging all over the shelfs on the right side when you entered the cafe. Perfect place for those who want to order a coffee and sink in the artistic atmosphere and those whom are talented to paint their masterpiece there. The cafe owner (I presume) is friendly and patient enough to explain to us on the different types of coffee when we are completely clueless on what to order. The price of the coffee are around $5 and the servings is small in my opinion. Jasmine ordered turkey mushroom creamy pasta, she finds the pasta to be nice and would definitely come back for more while I had a go on the basil pesto where the pasta and sauce is made of basil which explains the green colour. The taste of the pasta is a bit overwhelming for me. If you like strong flavours then I suggest you give it a try! For desserts, we had a slice of earl grey cheesecake. Well the bottom of the cake which is the biscuit tastes watery, it's not crunchy at all. I guess it is as a result of the top part because the cheesecake is also watery somehow. The earl grey flavour cover the taste of the cheese so I couldn't taste the cheese at all, a bit disappointed. Recommended to those who love art and coffee to chill at this cosy cafe!
